Mediterranean Spicy Grilled Bok ChoyWith Balsamic-Chili Glaze

Bok Choy is excellent for helping to cleanse your liver. The leafy outer greens provide dozens of micronutrients that help the liver stay healthy and balanced, while the core of the lettuce down closer to the root, provides compounds that act as a purging mechanism for it.

Ingredients
4 baby bok choy, halved
3 tbsp avocado oil (2 tbsp for glaze, 1 tbsp for grilling)
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp reduced vegetable broth
1 tsp maple syrup (optional sweetener)
1 tsp chili flakes
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
2 green onions, finely sliced
Salt & black pepper, to taste.
Directions
Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a grill pan; sear bok choy halves, cut side down, 3-4 min until golden.
Mix 2 tbsp avocado oil, balsamic vinegar, broth, garlic, chili flakes, and pomegranate molasses into a glaze.
Brush the glaze over the grilled bok choy and simmer
2 min to coat.
Transfer to a serving plate, keeping the glossy glaze in the dish.
Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top.
Season with a pinch
